Can't offer too much tonight

Sitting in a hospital bed bored out of my fucking minding.

Had my second surgery yesterday and hoping the pain killer arrives shortly.

Second surgery? Oh dear. I hope they're done with it now.

Today marks the one month in the hospital laying on my back, I have managed to sit up twice and take two steps, but that is it.

Not fun.

I have only just read your posts, because it is clear who was the true heart of these boards and who kept lively debate. It was you.

I really wish I had an arm 6,000 miles long that I could hold your hand at this moment. I don't know, one month is a very long time. You can read and watch things, but you must miss your wife, home and your dog so much that I only hope that you are well soon and home.

I thought about putting something else here that might cheer you up, but that would be a bit condescending, coz you can listen to any music and watch most things these days whilst in hospital.

Apart from that there are few things that can be sent by an online friend. I'm mere ephera. I am words upon a screen..... it's like, 'oh come on, you don't know me!' and that is true, I know little.

Very true actually. But who does? i think even through that, sometimes you can sense a good person. I don't just sense that, I know that. Anyway. I may get upset with that ethera thingy in a moment and get a tear for this person that I don't know. So, I will k of something to try and give you a laugh on some old show.... so hold the bus!!!! give me five....

Hi girls,

No I've not heard since either. It has been another fortnight, so I think I might ping off some e-mails. Hopefully she is recovering, but Miki is a solid person, she has her priorities and I fully understand she has her family first. I will let you know if I get a reply.
