Well Crap!
Tested positive for COVID.
So far it like a semi bad head cold. Could be worse I guess.

Well yes so many of my family have tested positive. All with minor symptoms. All double jabbed and boosted. All minor symptoms. I somehow escaped. I met with my friend Mary before Christmas, we had coffee in close proximity then went shopping. Next day she tested positive so warned me. Nothing. My kids in school have nothing. My wife despite being around hospital staff constantly being positive has no problems.
I think we're super immune or something.
Anyway I hope you'll be OK. This omnicrom variant seems relatively mild if you vaccinated.

So far so good. No fever, difficulty breathing, oxygen saturation is good. Episodic coughing and an off and on headache.
Pisses me off. I haven’t had any upper respiratory illnesses for three years.
Keep taking your precautions. Even mild disease is no fun.

Wishing you a quick recovery. So far I've dodged it, but I figure it's coming for me sooner or later.

Re: Well Crap!
I have no idea if I have ever had any version. Not easy to get something in my life.
I've been out so little this month. And going to the grocery a few times doesn't count for much exposure.
D'arcy has not been out all month.
I've felt sufficiently crummy a few times. But hardly cold symptoms.
I got the flu shot this month as well.

Seems I may be on the mend. It takes me a while to get up and going in the morning, and once I’m ready for the day I have to rest. I’m good for about 30 minutes of light activity, then I have to lay down. The fatigue is the only thing that seems out of proportion to the rest of the symptoms compared to a garden variety cold.

Thanks all,
Continuing to recover, still lingering head, sinus, ear congestion. Coughing had diminished significantly. Headache is less frequent and less intense. Biggest issue continues to be massive fatigue not really relieved by rest or sleep..
Two more days of quarantine.

Hi Liz,
Hope that by now you are feeling better and you are free to go out and about again very, very soon. I too, like Bunny, have never had the virus, though I do suspect that in December '19 I may have had it, for I was very sick for a week with flu like symptoms....
I am dosed up to the eyeballs, because over the last six or seven weeks I have had flu, hep B and the Booster vaccinations! There are many nurses at work that have caught Covid twice and few have escaped it, I guess I am one of the lucky ones, so far!

Continuing to improve. Most head cold symptoms are minimal and fading daily. Significant fatigue is still a factor to deal with. I do a chore or two then have to rest.
Tomorrow (Thursday Feb 3) is the last day of quarantine. I’ll need to venture out to the grocery store sometime this weekend.
