About time, really. It's crazy that we have to think about which crime they're going after, since there's so many. In any case, I hope this treasonous, narcissistic buffoon will finally face some kind of consequence for his actions once this is all said and done.

Hopefully this will be the undoing of him. If it turns out he took classified documents. I'm not sure even he can wriggle out of this.

But what's most inexplicable is how the entire Republican party have tied themselves to this despot.

They will surely pay for this in the future.

Because the alternative is that American democracy is in serious danger.

Anyway, to recap: Trump is currently under investigation for violating the Espionage Act (which carries up to 10 years in prison per document), Obstruction of Justice, and criminal handling of government records. And the FBI discovered 1 set of records marked Top Secret/SCI, 3 sets marked Top Secret, 4 sets marked Secret, and 3 sets marked confidential. So after his failed coup on January 6th, he took classified documents, some of which contain information on nuclear capabilities, and most likely sold that information to other countries (see: his son in law getting $2 billion from Saudi Arabia, and literally anything involving him and Russia). He's undoubtedly going to jail, but the cost was putting the entire country at risk. All to make a quick buck.
