New local transgender female friend

Well, it seems I am not the default visible transgender woman in town anymore.

Met someone yesterday (and boy did I need it too, my day was a bit on the rough side... fell down a ravine while out exploring during a bike ride, no wasn't on the bike at the time).

Her name is Darcy, she's just started hormone therapy, is a local, transgender female, and about my age (the physical age).

So I finally have a local individual who is publically out and transgender female and able to relate with.

So even though I ache, and I am all scratched up from the fall (mostly insignificant scratches, but man was I upset), and my purse got wrecked and I almost lost my glasses, the day recovered.

I am so not going exploring for a while. Sticking to nice safe flat surfaces for a long while
