I wouldn't say they are dying Celia. There were plenty of days when there was nothing happening at TGBoards too.

For all the hoopla that Discord is given, no one is interested in chatting there. I log in several times a day and nothing, absolutely nothing.

I'm guessing it is a Biblical verse numerical.

Re: Let's Count With Pictures!!!
In the year of thirty-nine assembled here the volunteers
In the days when lands were few
Here the ship sailed out into the blue and sunny morn
The sweetest sight ever seen
And the night followed day
And the story tellers say
That the score brave souls inside
For many a lonely day sailed across the milky seas
Ne'er looked back, never feared, never cried
Don't you hear my call though you're many years away
Don't you hear me calling you
Write your letters in the sand
For the day I take your hand
In the land that our grandchildren knew
In the year of thirty-nine came a ship in from the blue
The volunteers came home that day
And they bring good news of a world so newly born
Though their hearts so heavily weigh
For the earth is old and grey, little darling went away
But my love this cannot be
For so many years have gone though I'm older but a year
Your mother's eyes, from your eyes, cry to me
Don't you hear my call though you're many years away
Don't you hear me calling you
Write your letters in the sand for the day I take your hand
In the land that our grandchildren knew
Don't you hear my call though you're many years away
Don't you hear me calling you
All your letters in the sand cannot heal me like your hand
For my life
Still ahead
Pity Me

Well, there you go. Queen was never on my listening list, although I wouldn't change stations when it came on the radio - you know, that thing in the middle of your car's dashboard.

If you don't want a man unhappy politically, don't give him two sides to a question to worry him; give him one. Better yet, give him none. Let him forget there is such a thing as war. Hi Michaela!
I always listen to the radio in Helga. It's coz her cassette thingy is broken, so I can't play my Loretta Lynn and Kitty Wells tapes... she is 25 years old!
I am the same as you, I'm no Queen fan, but In The Year of '39 is worth a listen, it's very un-Queen like. Well, the next one is difficult, but I did find something! So tell me the connection to the number, if ya can!

BLASPHEMY!I'm no Queen fan
Mozart was 35 at his death. Could it be his final symphony was his 41st? I don't know...I'm no Mozart fan.

Re: Let's Count With Pictures!!!
Of the three 1788 symphonies, the Symphony in G minor, K. 550 (popularly referred to as No. 40, but probably No. 53), is the most original and has had the greatest influence on future composers. Few works from then 18th century are as intense, chromatic, and unconventional.

Re: Let's Count With Pictures!!!
Oh Michaela! But Jess got it right. It was the fact that he finished his 41st Symphony!!!
Well Done Jess!!!!!!
Well, as it happens, I'm with Noel Coward here, as a matter of fact,,,, pooh! and all that coz Coward said... quote: 'Mozart's quite like listening to one pissing upon a flannel'.
Give me Bizet, anyday, or Holst.
So, I am going to do 42, coz I learnt somewhere... and I don't know, I just cannot remember where.... anyway, let me tell you all, the number 42 has a lot to do with a book about hitchhikers and the cosmos and stars and stuff and hippies and thingies. So you see, I know lots and lots of stuff!
Only joking Miki, ok, I admit everyone, I knew nothing of 42 and Miki put me right. I mentioned it to other friends and they too were surprised about me not knowing about all the above hitchhiker thing, yes I'd heard of the book, but 42..... no....... woe is I!

That is an image of Messier Object 42 (M42) also known as 'The Orion Nebula'.
There is a doctoral thesis, or four, just in this one nebula. The bright part is getting its illumination from a group of stars known as 'The Trapezium'. There are four prominent stars making up a trapezium shape of stars but it is really a gigantic star nursery.
Take a look:
One of my previous hobbies was astrophotography and I still have the telescope that could take a similar (not the same) image.
