Today, in the States, is Thanksgiving Day. The day we celebrate what was given to us.

Some of us were given love, family, friends and that is good. Some of us have had extreme loss, especially of a loved partner.

Whatever you celebrate today, know there are sisters out there that may not have a family or friend to take of her, a good meal to fill her stomach and a future full of hope. Reach out, if you can, and give a sister something to make her life a bit easier.

I'm not American but it's a great thing whatever the origin. A day when we are thankful for what we have.

It should be a general idea.

There's been some comment about thanksgiving but honestly they're missing the point. It's a great American tradition.

It's special.

Enjoy

I'm a little late to the party but I did enjoy Thanksgiving. First time in years when I was actually able to have Thanksgiving dinner with my best friend on the actual holiday and we both had the day off. That hasn't happened in more than six years, so it made it kind of special. It was a good day.

Here's to hoping for more in the future. Smile
